If you plan on skiing at Northstar California only and will remain in the Village during the evenings, you do not need a rental car and should contact North Lake Tahoe Express for shuttle service. However, if you’re seeking a full Lake Tahoe adventure and plan to ski/ride nearby resorts, or enjoy some sightseeing, a rental car is necessary. Car rental is necessary for guests staying at Old Greenwood.
